AIRPLANE'S FOR MACKIE

 I offered to make airplanes for Mackie to give his friends for Valentines, 

I've never seen him be so excited!!! O how he loves his Paper Airplanes. 

You should have seen his face when I made him a F-15 Fighter Jet last night...LOL I You-tubed it.

It may have been the hardest origami in the history of Hard Origami....!!!

Getting up close and personal

 with

 Our Reindeer's accessories.

I posted about our reindeer a couple days ago, but I thought I would post what is with him.

You may have seen the Melted spoon trick on Pinterest  made into a  necklace,

 that's where I saw it... But they turned out so pretty, why not frame them?

  I hand painted the chevron... and the lazer cut frames where super cheap at Roberts Craft Store. 

I think they were around five dollars each.

He sits on the wall in my kitchen, so the canvas' go well with my rug... YAY.

Recovering Children Booster Chairs

Start by disassembling your booster, mine just had some screws.

This is what it looked like..Other then I already sewed a little "sleeve'' for the cushions.

Then I hand stitched the bottoms closed...by bottom I mean the part that is closest to the back.

I made a simple little tan bow and then pressed it as flat as I could.

I cut out the plastic cover and stitched the two sides and the front,

 I kept trying it on the cushion to see if it was snug enough. 

The plastic still looks fairly loose in this picture- But not for long!
 I stuffed the bow in
then I took my hot glue gun and pulled the plastic as tight as I could and glued it together.

 Reassemble! It was so fast and pretty easy...And I can't tell you how much better they look! I love them now, they aren't such an eye sore. YAY.

You may ask why I did two bows when I have a boy and a girl...

well because I like the bow. He'll live. ;)

As you have probably seen over on the family blog, Lulu is potty training and she wont keep her clothes on..

So yes her PJ's are on backwards. LOL does anyone else do this? IT WORKS!! Am I the only one??

EASY DIY WREATH

Coffee filters from Target for just a couple bucks.

The base which I glued the coffee filters to is foam core board from The dollar store.

I folded the coffee filters in half and glued them on...SOOO EASY!

I'm sure you love the glue webs as much as me,

 Don't touch those, they add a little something don't ya think?

DEER HEAD.

A little time consuming, but fun!

 I started with newspaper that I made into the general shape of a dear head, which I wrapped with white duct tape, then I used paper-mâché!!!

 As you can see I found sticks that I paper mached for antlers.

 The project was almost free..WINNING!

It was messy, But really fun! I felt like a little girl again. Slapping that  

paper-mâché on!!

The ears I shaped out of tin foil..then taped, then paper-mâché  .

 I painted the whole thing with white paint.

My father in law made the mount, I stained it.

I don't know where his red bow tie went in this picture :(

 You can see the yellow pin under his neck, He was so dressed up!

 I think Mackie borrowed it for his School Christmas Program LOL :)

Mackie's hair story.

Because I know you were wondering.

Mom looks at son, sons hair literally speaks to her, HELP ME! HELPPPP MEEE!!!

Mom convinces Mac that his hat she puts on his head is "SUPER COOL"

 Mom bribes her son with "White Worms"
She says, "They are really cool,

 you are going to want to see them!"

Son is a little scared of "White Worms"...The End ;)

Pink Birthday Skirt

I made this little skirt for Millie's Fifth Birthday!

It was Sunday night and I didn't have anything

 "Special" for her to wear on her birthday the next morning.

I usually have a new birthday outfit for them.

 So I took a onesie of Lucie's that had a layered skirt,

 I tiered the fabric to make this little skirt for my Mils.

 She loved it...Win!

The Flamingo dress

I made this little spunky dress with some lace I found at a neighbors estate sale.

It was super easy...I like things to be as simple as possible sometimes.

First I sewed a under tee of mine right down the middle,

 which made a cute little stretchy, slim fitting one sleeved dress for Millie.

 I then ruffled the lace, and pinned it to the dress.

 Sewed it on...And she has a darling little dress.

I made a little belt with some Aqua elastic I had.

 Bibbidi Bibbidi Boo!!

Dollar Store Frames painted red, 

I then painted the glass with chalkboard paint and added bows. 

I also used the chalkboard markers, which I am in love with!

This quote literally goes through my mind so many times in one day..

 It is the thing that gets me up and going when its so tough as a tired mom to do so.

Thanks mom for ingraining this motto into my brain!! 

Spa Day with the Sisters.

Today I Colored, Cut and Styled Mandy Lou's Hair.
It was so fun to see her and little Hayden (Who braved the front room with my four crazy kiddos)..
She is such a BABE.

 I Also got to spend time with Jessie Anne who is going to have a baby any day!
 I gave her a facial, a hand massage a foot massage and some waxing,
 and we put gel over the top of her super cute finger and toe nail polish..

We watched the beginning of "REIGN" twice,
told lots of stories about babies and boobies.
Had sandwiches with chips inside.
 I love my Sisters!
